Paint Pail Filling Line
The PASE Group designed and built a complete 5-gallon metal pail filling line for a Fortune 500 Paint Manufacturer. This fast and efficient pail filling line features; PASE Group’s; NEW Dual Stack Pail Denester, 4 Head Net-Weight POP Style Filling Machine, NEW Metal Pail Lid Placer with Auto Orientation for crimp-style lids and a Custom Designed 4-UP Crimping Station. All tied together via motorized conveyor with all necessary pail sensors and pail stops. An innovative pail handle guide installed from the denester’s output until the fill zone – ensures the pail handles maintain proper orientation prior to auto placement of the spouted lids. An Allen Bradley PLC and Large 12-inch Allen Bradley Color HMI Pedestal allows for total control of this filling line including; filling recipe generation, recipe storage, filling line productivity tracking and filling line trouble shooting. All hazardous mechanical areas are shielded with robust covers and doors with integrated safety locks and appropriate EMO switches.
Beverage Filling Line
The PASE Group custom designed and built sanitary net-weight drum and tote filling line for a major beverage supplier automatically transports; individual totes, four plastic drums on a pallet and fiber drums on a pallet with plastic bag inserts to one of two auto filling stations followed by single stations for; semi-automatic labeling , auto stretch wrapping and auto cover sheet placement (for palletized drums only).
The completed net weight beverage filling line automatically detects container type and size prior to the fill step and compares it to the stored filling recipes – that resides in the filling machines PLC– ensuring the right fill recipe goes with the correct container type and size. The dual automatic filling stations allow for simultaneous operator-free filling of any two container types increasing the overall output of this custom filling line.
Each filling station has a built-in vision system which auto finds the drum and tote bung locations prior to sanitary auto top or bottom filling, freeing up the operator to attend to other filling line duties.
Specialty Chemical Filling Line
Ideal-Pak’s semi-automated bottom filling drum and tote line filling delivers Increased production and throughput with Ideal-Pak’s net-weight fill system technology and a variety of smart conveyor configurations. Totes and palletized drums are automatically transported from the initial in-feed conveyor onto the scale conveyor where totes are automatically filled (with no operator intervention) and drums are filled with the assistance of an operator. Once filled,totes and drums are automatically transported to conveyor sections where they can feed into labeling or shrink-wrapping stations or off-loaded via forklift for shipping. Ideal-Pak’s smart conveyor systems increase the speed and productivity of your filling operation by incorporating sensors under PLC control on each conveyor section. Allowing the system to detect vacant conveyor sections and fill them with the next tote or pallet and ensure collision free filling production. Any combination of in-feed and out-feed conveyor designs are available.
Lubricant Filling Line
The PASE Group designed and built a completely automatic single drum filling line incorporating two simultaneous fill stations with auto bung locator, auto filling and auto bung attachment followed by auto cap seal and labeler. This line includes bowl feeders for operator-free bung and cap seal feeding. Allen Bradley PLC with large color touch screen HMI provides fast and easy machine setup, recipe management and overall operation.
